Out with the Old...In with the New!!! Tutorial

I took down all our Christmas decorations today and my house looks so empty.  I am trying to wait until the middle of January to put up the Valentine stuff....trying!!!  To keep me happy, I started looking around for Valentine Tutorials.  I have a few made and on my FB page, but need some more ideas.  I found this cute felt heart clip tutorial and might have to make one for Abby to wear.  So cute and as always, let me know if you try it and post some pics!!!

Ribbon Flower Bow Tutorial

http://7layerstudio.typepad.com/7_layer_studio/2008/07/bow-tutorial.html

This is adorable and perfect for Spring.  The author uses Fray Check, which I don't use but have heard it is much easier.  You can also attach any kind of clip to this bow.  Super cute!  If anyone tries this, let me know how it worked out for you.  Pictures are always welcome!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I am so ashamed that I haven't used my blog to its full potential, but I am back!!!   It is now 2012 and a New Year.  I love New Years.  Time to start fresh, make new goals for the day, week, month, year and leave the past behind us.

I am hoping to use this blog to show more of me and my family, my love of all things ribbon and show you all what I do.  Tutorials have been a life saver for me and for those mommies out there that love what I make, but want to do it themselves, this is where I become your lifesaver.  I will be posting some of my favorite tutorials on here for bows, clips and flowers.  I will also be posting tutorials on other craft items that I file away to do on a rainy day.

And GIVEAWAYS!!!  We can't forget giveaways.  I will be hosting giveaways on here (and on Facebook) so check back often.

I will end this first blog post of 2012 with HAPPY NEW YEAR and Happy Crafting!
